Privacy policy
The short version

Access and dietary needs
If you tell us about access or dietary needs, we only keep the note if you tick the box beside it, and we delete it 30 days after the event. It can count as health information, so only the team running the event can see it: it isn’t shown on your booking page, and it isn’t emailed to hosts.
Who we share it with
Stripe (payments), [email service] (emails) and [hosting company] (this website), only for those jobs.
Where it’s kept
[In the UK, or with the right safeguards if a service keeps it elsewhere. Confirm for each service.]
How long we keep it
- Payments, and the bookings, memberships and orders they’re for: 6 years after the end of that financial year, as the law asks for our accounts
- Free bookings: 2 years
- Waiting lists: until the event has happened
- Access and dietary needs: 30 days after the event
- Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe
- Messages: 12 months after we reply
- Photos: until you ask us to take them down
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or download your data, or ask us to stop using it. You can unsubscribe or take back your consent any time. Email [email address] and we’ll reply within a month.
Complaints
Please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
