Who we are
These terms are between you and NPLB Community Interest Company, which runs Where Friends Grow.
Booking a social
Your booking email confirms your place. The price shown is the full price.
If you can’t make it
Places aren’t refundable. From your booking email you can send a friend instead, or cancel so someone on the waiting list can go. Socials are on a set date, so the 14-day cooling-off period for buying online doesn’t apply.
If we cancel or move a social
You get a full refund if we cancel, or if we move it to a date that doesn’t suit you.
Retreats
Pay a deposit to reserve, then the rest whenever you like, £20 or more at a time, all by the date on your booking. Nothing is refundable, including the deposit.
If it isn’t all paid in time, we’ll get in touch, then release your place. If you can’t come, you can send a friend. If your place is released or you don’t come, what you’ve paid isn’t returned and you won’t owe the rest. If we cancel, you get everything back.
Memberships
£20 a month by card, from the day you join. Your member code gets you member prices and early booking. Cancel any time from your welcome email, and it ends when your paid month does. [Cooling-off and any minimum term, to check with advice.]
At our socials
Socials, retreats and memberships are for people aged 18 and over. Be kind. Hosts can ask anyone who makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome to leave.
Merch
UK postage is included in the price. We post within 3 to 5 working days, and pre-orders as soon as they arrive with us (the product page says when we expect them). You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind: tell us by email, then send it back unused within 14 days, and we refund the price and standard postage within 14 days of getting it back. [Who pays to post a return: to be decided.] We post to UK addresses only for now.
Photos
We ask before taking your photo, and we’ll take one down if you ask.
