Nothing coming up just now
We're planning the next ones now. Leave your email and we'll tell you as soon as they go up.
Fancy hosting socials in your city? Tell us.
That's everything coming up. New socials go up every week.
Don’t see your city? New cities are starting all the time. Get our emails to hear first.
How it works
New to Where Friends Grow? Here’s what happens, from picking your first social to seeing the same faces every week.
Step 1 of 4
Pick a social
Find one in your city. Craft nights, walks, picnics and workshops, with something new every week.
- The price, up front
- What's included
- How accessible it is
Step 2 of 4
Book your place
It takes a couple of minutes online, and you'll get an email with everything you need to know.
- Quick to book
- All the details in one email
- Every ticket gives back to No Plant Left Behind
Step 3 of 4
Come along, solo is fine
Lots of people come on their own. We'll say hello at the door, and there's always an activity, which gives you something to chat about.
- A friendly hello at the door
- Something to do together
- Small, friendly groups
Step 4 of 4
Keep coming back
See the same faces, make proper friends and make it a habit. You made it across.
- Regulars who remember your name
- Members pay less and book first
Moments from past socials
Photos only go up when everyone in them has agreed.

Questions people ask
Anything else? Get in touch and we’ll help.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, lots of people do. Every social is built around an activity, so you’ll have something to do and something to chat about from the start.
Who comes to socials?
Mostly people in their 20s and 30s, and lots of them are new to their city. Socials are for people aged 18 and over.
What’s included in the price?
Each social says what’s included before you book, for example materials or a hot drink.
Is it accessible?
Every social lists its access details, including step-free access, toilets and how much walking there is. If you have a question, get in touch before you book and we’ll help.
Can I bring friends?
Yes. When you book, choose how many places you need: one for you and one for each friend. Add their emails if they’d like the reminders too.
What if I can’t make it?
Places aren’t refundable, but you can send a friend instead: use the link in your booking email to give us their name and email. Or cancel there, so someone on the waiting list can have your place. If we cancel the social, or move it to a date that doesn’t suit you, you’ll get your money back.
Do I need to be a member?
No, anyone can book. Members pay less and get early booking for socials that sell out.
Where does the money go?
Profits from every ticket go back into No Plant Left Behind’s work connecting communities with nature.
