About this pin

A collection made with Gob Worm, two young artists, celebrating the wildlife the City Scape Project helped bring back to a London garden.

Each pin is metal, comes on a No Plant Left Behind backing card, and has a little heart-shaped clasp, for the love and care behind these habitats. You're buying one pin.

Profits are split 50/50: half to our next projects, and half to the two young artists.

The stories behind the pins

  • The bee pin on its backing card

    Bee

For the pollinator-friendly planting that gives bees food and shelter in the middle of the city.

  • The fox pin on its backing card

    Fox

Foxes visited before the project began, and the garden became a place for them to feed and rest. They help keep the rats and mice down, too.

  • The frog pin on its backing card

    Frog

A wildlife pond designed by a young landscape architecture student had frogs within three days. A frog and toad shelter followed.

  • The hedgehog pin on its backing card

    Hedgehog

On a build day, teams made hedgehog homes from scrap wood. One called theirs the "HedgeFund Home", because any hedgehog would need one to afford London rent.

  • The pigeon pin on its backing card

    Pigeon

Clever, tough and too often overlooked. The pond has stepping points, so pigeons and other birds can drink safely.

  • The woodlouse pin on its backing card

    Woodlouse

For the deadwood habitats and bug-building days. One team proudly named their bug hotel "Buggingham Palace".
